• Roads

The municipality has a well- structured road network. The location of all settlements allows relatively quick access to the municipal center and to "Hemus" highway leading to the Capital. Local roads are in good condition. Public transport assures connections to all settlements in the municipality, including the mountainous and scarcely populated villages.

• Power supply 

The power supply in the municipality is provided by National Electricity Company. The power supply and power distribution networks, as well as all applicable facilities, are managed, maintained and reconstructed by "CHEZ- Bulgaria" EAD. Power distribution on the territory of the town is executed by Power supply Botevgrad region. The following types of power lines are available in the town: 400 кV, 110кV, 20 кV, 380V/220V which provide industrial electricity for the households.

• Natural gas

Through the territory of the municipality passes a main pipeline part of the critical Bulgarian infrastructure. The municipal company "Balkangas 2000" AD up to this point has constructed a gas supply network of 109 266 m., serving 4200 private and corporate clients. Balkangas 2000 AD ensures a secure supply of natural gas to its customers via up to date gas transport infrastructure covering Botevgrad town, Zelin area and the villages in the municipality. 100% connectivity of the population has been reached.

• Telecommunications.

100% 4G coverage is available in the territory of the municipality provided by all telecoms- Telenor, Mtel (Telecom Austria Group) and Vivacom. Local and national providers ensure gigabyte ground connectivity on the whole territory of the municipality both to individual and corporate customers.  

• Waste Depot

In the end of 2012 nonhazardous waste depot was opened. It is located near the town and serves the needs of Botevgrad and the neighboring municipalities.

• Water treatment stations

Two Drinking Water Treatment Plants have been built on the territory of the municipality- DWTP "Chekanitsa 1" and DWTP "Chekanitsa 2". Water is purified through ozonation and is decontaminated with Natrium Chloride. The waste water treatment plant is also constructed for the town needs. 

On the territory of the municipality, there are also many logistic hubs which could contribute to all future investors for easier transportation of goods.
